Our Company:
DYNA-MIG, A Division of F&P Mfg., Inc. is a Japanese Just-In-Time automotive parts supplier. Our large facility of is home to more than 400 fully automated FANUC and Motoman robotic weld cells. Our production processes include Robotic GMAW and resistance welders, Cold Forging, and two E-Coat paint systems. We weld, assemble and paint engine cradles, frames, sub components and service parts.
The Opportunity:
This is a Full-Time permanent position with no contract period! The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing various automotive parts, which will require working in a team setting with a number of different machines and tools in order to meet production requirements.
Responsibilities:
As a key member in our Production Team, you will be responsible for:
- Working in a safe manner while informing Lead or Coordinator of safety hazards
- Wearing all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing parts
- Manufacturing and assembling parts
- Understanding and following IS014001 procedures
- Meeting daily production requirements through following work instructions
- Participating in daily 5S program
- Maintaining cells and stations
- Accurate documentation recording
- Maintaining a professional and respectful manner when dealing with all other team members, customers and visitors
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To be considered for the job, you should have the following credentials:
- Previous manufacturing experience in an Automotive setting preferred, but not required
- Ability to work shifts – 8-hour shifts rotating (days/afternoons) or straight midnights
- Ability to work overtime on weekends with short notice
- Initiative, good attendance record and dependable
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various cells/stations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work with little supervision

The Opportunity:
This is a Full-Time permanent position with no contract period! The Material Services Associate is responsible for transporting various materials within the plant. This will require working in a team setting in order to meet production requirements.
Responsibilities:
As a key member in our Production Team, you will be responsible for:
- Operate Counterbalance, Stand-up Forklifts, Very Narrow Aisle Forklifts, Skyjack & Pallet Truck, Shunt truck and work as assigned
- Providing material to production lines in a timely and safe manner
- Ensuring shipments are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner
- Confirming the condition of incoming materials
- Organizing and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Working in a safe manner while informing Lead or Coordinator of safety hazards
- Wearing all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Understanding and following QS9000 and IS014001 procedures
- Participating in daily 5S program
- Maintaining equipment
- Accurate documentation recording
- Maintaining a professional and respectful manner when dealing with all other team members, customers and visitors
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To be considered for the job, you should have the following credentials:
- Excellent communication, interaction and listening skills
- Ability to work at heights of up to 20+ feet
- Good computer skills
- Accurate and detailed workmanship
- Previous tow motor experience required
- Reach truck experience is an asset
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Previous experience in an Automotive setting preferred, but not required

Qualifications:
To be considered for the job, you should have the following credentials:
- Interprovincial red seal trade license as an Industrial Millwright (433A)
- 5 + years experience since achieving Certificate of Qualification
- Experience working in automotive tier one or assembly plants is an asset
- Experience with Fanuc and or Motoman (Yaskawa) robots is an asset
- Ability to work either:
- An 8-hour day and afternoon rotating shift, or
- A straight 8-hour midnight shift
- Able to identify weld defects and their causes
- Knowledge and experience in proper rigging techniques
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Some electrical knowledge in low voltage controls and the ability to change sensors, route sensor wires
- Knowledge and skill in use of machine shop tools such as a vertical mill or engine lathe and the ability to machine parts from print or from measurements taken in the field
- Able to read and understand blueprints, machine drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, and electrical prints
- Understanding and experience in making simple tool adjustments to weld fixtures
- Attention to detail and keeps proper documentation of work completed
- Motivated self starter
- PLC knowledge and experience in troubleshooting ladder logic would be an asset
- Knowledge in automation communication standards and how to troubleshoot comm faults would be an asset
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting would be an asset
- Experience in process improvements, cycle time improvements, and kaizen development would be an asset

Qualifications:

- Robotic Training for Fanuc and Motoman robots
- Robotic weld training

Production Supervisor
We have an opening for a Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve safety, quality, delivery and production requirements on a daily basis
- Provide direction, leadership and ongoing feedback to Production Associates
- Deliver solutions and support for process improvements and problem solving in the manufacturing process
- Teach and ensure 5S methodology to maintain a neat and orderly workspace
- Develop best practices to improve all department activities
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years automotive related leadership experience
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Positive attitude, strong leadership and team building skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to problem solve effectively while managing multiple issues in a fast paced work environment
- Good mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach
- Experience with GMAW/RSW welding environment
- E-coat paint experience an asset
- Ability to work day/afternoon rotating two weeks about shifts
- Knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook
